Dr P Neha Sudhakar

Dr. Neha Sudhakar currently serves as the Head of Department of Vitreoretinal Surgery, Uvea and Neuro-ophthalmology at Suseela Netralaya in Kurnool. She received her basic medical education at Navodaya Medical College, Raichur, and completed her Masters in Ophthalmology (MS) at Shanthiram Medical College, Nandyal. Her specialized training in Vitreoretinal surgery, Uvea and Neuro-ophthalmology was undertaken at the reputed Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. Additionally, she has received training in ROP screening and management, paediatric retina evaluation and Phacoemulsification at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.

​Dr Neha Sudhakar has contributed to approximately five publications in peer-reviewed journals, both nationally and internationally. She has performed over 6,000 retina surgeries and has presented her surgical techniques at various academic conferences. As an experienced retina surgeon, she possesses special skills in retinal detachment surgeries, complex diabetic tractional detachments, macular hole surgeries, secondary IOL implantation, management of complications from cataract surgery, ocular trauma, and intraocular foreign body removal surgeries. She is also a member of various national and international ophthalmic societies.​
